Ted Chi-fung Hui is a Democratic Party politician in exile. He was the Legislative Councillor for the Hong Kong Island constituency from 2016 to 2020. Hui was also an elected District Councillor from 2011 to 2020. Hui was regarded as one of the most progressive legislators who led the 2019 democracy movement in Hong Kong. He is now on the Hong Kong government’s wanted persons list. Hui was educated in Canada and Hong Kong. In 2006, he earned his bachelor’s degree in Law with honors from the City University of Hong Kong.
