HKDC is joined by 46 U.S.-based Hong Kong community and advocacy groups, as well as 14 nonprofit allies, in a joint letter directed to President Biden on Friday. It calls for a renewal and an expansion of the Deferred Enforced Departure (D.E.D.) policy for Hong Kongers, which is set to expire on Feb. 5, 2023.
